Now you can charge your single phase e-car nearly twice as fast: instead of supplying a maximum output of 3.7 kW, as was previously the case, the JUICE PHASER can supply 5.8 kW, but with a mains load of only 16 amps.

Safe as houses: with the JUICE PHASER there’s no risk of unacceptable unbalanced loads in the power network.

Many buildings have 25 amp protection. The JUICE PHASER can supply 25 amps for single-phase charging via a 16-amp three-phase socket, leaving plenty of power for other domestic loads.

 

Features

Until now, the Jaguar I-PACE, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Ioniq and Kona, Kia Soul and e-Niro, Vauxhall/Opel Ampera-E and many other electric cars could only be charged from domestic power supplies with single-phase power. Unfortunately this meant extremely long charging times. The Vauxhall/Opel Ampera-E takes 15 hours to charge fully, for example. And sure, charging would be quicker using DC power, but DC charging stations cost between 10 to 20 times more than AC charging stations.

The JUICE PHASER is a cost-effective solution to this common problem. The Vauxhall/Opel Ampera-E can now be charged in around nine hours, for example.

The JUICE PHASER can supply single-phase electric cars with up to 25 amps from a 16-amp supply (red, three-phase). The JUICE CONNECTOR connects the increased charging power to the JUICE BOOSTER 2 portable charging station.

Unbalanced loads in excess of 16 amps are prohibited in most countries. The current limit in Germany is actually 20 amps, but this is due to come down to 16 amps in the near future. However, the JUICE PHASER allows you to draw 25 amps without a second thought - while still complying with the law.
